Just a reminder that the main library and the Younkin Branch are open until 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday during the summer. Both library locations are closed on Sundays in June, July and August.

Here’s what’s coming up at the Pickaway County District Public Library in June!

Summer Reading Programs include prizes for reading books of your choice. All ages may participate. Many of the prizes for the summer reading program are sponsored by the Friends of the Pickaway County District Public Library. Bookmobile and Storytime On Wheels also offer Summer Reading Programs at all their stops.

Outreach Summer Events:

The Bookmobile, which will visit 43 stops around the county this summer, will allow patrons of all ages to register for prizes at the stops every two weeks. Bookmobile stops will include New Holland, Williamsport, South Bloomfield, Tarlton, Atlanta, Five Points, Era, Commercial Point, Orient, Clark’s Lake, Saltcreek Elementary, Circleville area and many more. Schedules of exact times and locations are available at any library location or at www.pickawaylib.org.

STORYTIME
Storytime on Wheels programs are for young people in preschool through fifth grade and include programs, prizes and crafts. Storytime On Wheels will visit:

            Tarlton United Methodist Church – 11 a.m. Mondays June 9 & 23, July 7 & 21

            Lockbourne Lodge – 11 a.m. Tuesdays June 17, July 1, 15 & 29

            Commercial Point U. M. Church – 11:15 a.m. Wednesday June 11 & 25, July 9 & 23

            Five Points Community Building – 9:30 a.m. Wednesdays June 18, July 2, 16 & 30

            Williamsport U.M. Church – 11 a.m. Wednesdays June 18, July 2, 16 & 30

Storytime On Wheels also visits seven daycare centers.
