RESPONSIBILITIES OF COMMITTEES |
|
Safety Committee – responsible for the general health and safety of the village’s streets, property and work environment and meets on the 2nd Monday of each month. |
|
Finance Committee – responsible for overseeing of major expenditures, money transfers, quarterly spending reports, works directly with administration on the annual budget and treasurer with investments and meets on the 2nd Monday of each month. |
|
Parks & Recreation Committee – responsible to evaluate the use of village parks and plan for activities. Coordinate use contracts and future park grounds and meets on the 2nd Monday of each month. |
|
Planning & Visioning/Facilities Committee – responsible for both the village’s short and long term plans and meets on the 2nd Monday of each month. |
|
Facility Management Committee – responsible for general maintenance and repairs of all village infrastructure (streets and utilities, buildings maintenance) and meets on the 2nd Monday of each month. |
|
Legislative Committee – responsible for council’s rules and procedures and meets on the 2nd Monday of each month. |
|
Business Development Committee – recruit and retain businesses to the village and keep the village competitive. |
|
Utility Committee – responsible for the review of income and expenditures of the Utility Department and appeals of billing decisions. |
|
All other committees should meet at least semi-annually or as needed. |
