CLERK-FISCAL OFFICER’S REPORT . . . The CFO distributed the payment register for March 19 – March 31, 2006 and reported on the Local Government Official’s Conference sponsored by the State Auditor that the VA and he had attended March 30^th and 31^st.

COUNCIL MEMBER COMMENTS:

1. Barbara Hopper read a prepared statement expressing her concern about vandalism occurring.  She asked all to read in the Country Living magazine concerning the Big Walnut Augmentation Rickenbacker Interceptor. She said that she the loss of two county officials: through the death of Prosecutor Gene Long and the resignation of Commissioner John Stevenson to take a federal position.
    

2. Keith Moore reminded all with the weather breaking please watch out for children playing.
    

3. Franklin Christman informed all that the CEDA group had been meeting and working on the JEDD and indicated that the paperwork is being finalized and a series of public meeting will be held with the dates and times to be announced.   

At 7:24 PM, Chester Gloyd moved, seconded by Gayle Blankenship, to adjourn the meeting.  All votes were yea.
