CLERK/FISCAL OFFICER'S REPORT

 

The CFO asked council to accept several reports which had been distributed previously.  Chester Gloyd moved, seconded by Gayle Blankenship, to accept the 2003-2004 Audit Report.  All votes were yea.  Chester Gloyd moved, seconded by Keith Moore, to accept the December 2005 Financial Report.  All votes were yea.  Keith Moore moved, seconded by Chester Gloyd, to accept the January 2006 Financial Report.  All votes were yea.

 

 

COUNCIL MEMBER COMMENTS:

 

1.  Barbara Hopper reminded everyone of the information meeting on the JEDD, being held on Wednesday, February 15, 2006 beginning at 7:00 PM at Teays Valley High School Auditorium.  Franklin Christman reported that information on the CEDA and JEDD are available on the village website and that CGTV5 would be taping the meeting for later broadcast on Time Warner.

 

2.  Keith Moore reported that mail boxes were being vandalized and parents needed to be aware of what their children were doing.  Chief Pennington remarked that several youth had been apprehended and charges were being filed.  Also, the VA reported that street marking signs were being taken on a regular basis and replacing them was costing the village several thousand dollars each year.

 

At 7:38 PM, Chester Gloyd moved, seconded by Keith Moore, to adjourn the meeting.  All votes were yea.

Comments for this regular session are as follows: The meeting is being held on Tuesday because of the President's Day Holiday.

 

All formal actions of the VILLAGE OF ASHVILLE concerning and relating to the adoption of resolutions and/or motions passed at this meeting were adopted in a meeting open to the public, in compliance with the law, including Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code.
